Educated in Canada and the United Kingdom
from primary school through postgraduate studies,
ELCY ISLAND’s Head Designer has developed a perspective shaped
by diverse cultures and international experiences.
From an early age,
exposure to international fashion events and industry settings broadened
the designer’s creative vision and sensibility.
The designer later studied Bespoke Tailoring at London College of Fashion (LCF, UAL),
one of the world’s leading institutions for fashion education.
Through this training,
the designer gained a rigorous understanding of traditional British tailoring,
meticulous construction techniques,
and the balance and proportion that define a beautifully finished garment.
Throughout this journey,
the focus has remained on exploring how classic beauty can transcend time
and how women can embody elegance naturally and effortlessly.
